NEW! Member of the Year Award
BOMA NB/PEI Member of the Year Award honours a member of a local association who has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and/or service to the commercial real estate community. The award recognizes activity during the previous calendar year, rather than service rendered over many years.
Pinnacle Award Categories:
The Pinnacle Award recognizes Standards of Excellence displayed by BOMA NB/PEI member companies.
Pinnacle Awards acknowledge innovation, teamwork, outstanding customer service and commitment to clients.
*BOMA NB/PEI winners in each category will be eligible to compete at the National level.
TOBY Award (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Categories:
BOMA’s Certificate of Excellence program recognizes excellence in property and facility management. Certification acknowledges commitment to best practices in building performance, quality of building management and the people behind it. Buildings must meet standards in building management, operations, environmental/ energy/emergency management, design, tenant and community relations, tenant satisfaction and personnel training.
The TOBY Award is presented to the highest scoring building in each category:

*BOMA NB/PEI winners in each category will be eligible to compete at the National level.
Emerging Leader Award
The Emerging Leader Award recognizes individuals within the Commercial Real Estate Industry who have demonstrated excellence, is a team leader and is aspiring to be the next leaders in the profession. The award recognizes Leadership, Initiative, and/or Services to the commercial real estate community. The award will be presented to individuals 35 years of age or younger who have showed significate contribution to their organizations and /or within the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
*BOMA NB/PEI winners in each category will be eligible to compete at the National level.
Building Operations Team Award
The Building Operations Team of the Year Award celebrates the success of the Team that shows a high level of expertise in scheduling preventive maintenance; improving general building operations; and ensuring maximum energy efficiency.
BOMA BEST Awards
The BOMA BEST Award is a recognition of excellence in resource preservation and environmentally sound commercial building management. The BOMA BEST Award is presented to a building that has made significant efforts to address environmental issues faced by both older and newer buildings.
BOMA Canada National Awards
Each year, the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada offers its National Awards Program in recognition of excellence in the Canadian commercial real estate industry.
Toby Awards
The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards salute the stars of the commercial real estate industry, recognizing excellence in property management, operations, resource conservation, environmental awareness, leasing and building design, customer service and innovation.
BOMA BEST Awards
The BOMA BEST Award is BOMA Canada’s recognition of excellence in resource preservation and environmentally sound commercial building management. The BOMA Canada BOMA BEST Award is presented to a building that has made significant efforts to address environmental issues faced by both older and newer buildings.
Emerging Leader Award
BOMA Canada’s Emerging Leader Award recognizes individuals in the Commercial Real Estate Industry who have demonstrated excellence, inspired their team members and are well on their way to becoming the next leaders in the profession.
This award recognizes leadership, initiative, and/or service to the commercial real estate community. The award is presented to individuals 35 years of age or younger who have significantly contributed to their organization and/or the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
