EMC Committee:
Events / Marketing / Communications

Responsible for the continual communication and marketing of all BOMA events and BOMI education, as well as actively involved in the promotion of BOMA NB-PEI and related industry news and events through various platforms, including our social media (Twitter and LinkedIn), BOMA NB-PEI website and hard copy materials. 

Membership Committee 

The promotion, growth and retention of members. Actively seek out new members through personal contact and by promoting the association at community events. To communicate the benefits of membership and collect member experiences and reactions. Promote Membership incentives. Recommend new programs for current members and continually strive to create a welcoming and valuable experience. Working together in planning social and networking events for all members. 

 Sustainability Committee 

Promotes and facilitates BOMA BEST 3.0 program, with assistance of BOMA CANADA. Work together with other organizations to promote sustainability in the work place, best practices, Award Programs, etc. 

Finance Committee 

Overseeing the financial reporting and disclosure process. Monitoring choice of accounting policies and principles. 

Education Committee 

The Education Committee provides leadership to BOMA NB∙PEI on matters relating to professional learning for those in the Commercial Property industry.  The committee is responsible for providing BOMI accredited courses, for professional development seminars and workshops for the association. 

Government Relations Committee 

The government relations committee’s role is to further BOAM NB∙PEI’s members’ interests by promoting policies with all levels of government by providing fact-based positions on issues affecting the Commercial Property environment.

The committee is charged with developing a pro-active agenda that ensures sound public policy is in place that encourages favourable environment for building owners, managers and developers.

Nominations Committee 

Knowing our membership and working with our members and committee structures to seeing where help is needed. 

Awards Committee 

Working with BOMA Canada for the Pinnacle and Toby Awards. Local Awards to be presented at the AGM- Young Professional Award, Building Operations Team Award and Supplier/Contractor Award. 

They are future leaders of the Canadian commercial real-estate industry. BOMA Canada is committed to providing these emerging leaders with a voice, access to continuous learning, unique ways to make connections and opportunities to grow their careers. BOMA Canada and its local chapters provides emerging leaders with the full experience.
